Me and Ellie Heywood collaborated on this poster and turned it around in the very short time frame we were given of one day. We were asked to make the poster look 'funky' and to maybe try and incorporate an afro. After doing a couple of rough sketches we came up with the idea of using circular lettering overlaying an afro. We looked for some secondary imagery to use and edited the image, changing the colour mode, the curves, levels adding grain and cropping the image. We used a simple bright colour scheme and bold sans serif type.
